Pouring for a Purpose
A Toast to Hope. A Fundraiser with Heart.
Over the past five years, every October at 3 Sons Brewing Co., we’ve proudly honored and supported those impacted by breast cancer and this year is no different. But now, the cause hits even closer to home and it's personal.
Pouring for a Purpose is more than just a fundraiser; it's a story of strength, grace, resilience and community, and the belief that every pint can make a difference.
Together, we're raising funds for the Christine E. Lynn Women’s Health & Wellness Institute and the Schmidt Family Center for Breast Care, an incredible organization that provides life-saving resources, treatment and care for women across South Florida.

Maegen’s Story
You may know me or my husband, Dennis, from around the brewery. For the past year, two months, and eleven days (since August 2, 2024, to be exact), I’ve been fighting Invasive Ductal Carcinoma of the breast, stage II. When I first heard those words, my world stopped. My first thought wasn’t about me — it was, “How will this affect my boys?” Everything felt distant and unreal.
During a time when so much felt out of my control, I found power in small rituals — morning affirmations, long walks with my husband, and nightly meditation. These moments reminded me of who I am beyond the diagnosis.
What truly carried me through, though, was the kindness of this community. The meals, the gifts, the constant check-ins for my husband and kids — it was overwhelming love. It made me feel not alone, and that’s what we want to give back this month.
We’re dedicating this October, just like years past, to standing with everyone facing their own fight. Together, we’re raising awareness, hope, and funds for those who need it most.
